The Annual Meeting of the International Society for Data Science and Analytics (ISDSA) aims to provide a global forum from researchers and practitioners in the field of data science and data analytics to communicate and showcase their latest research. The ISDSA Meeting is for anyone interested in data science and data analytics. Researchers, practitioners, educators, and users come together at the ISDSA Meeting to present new and ongoing work and to discuss future directions for data science and data analytics.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, the 2022 Annual Meeting of ISDSA will be a combination of in-person and virtual talks. The in-person meeting takes place at the University of Notre Dame, IN, USA.

Best paper awards

 

The meeting committee selected two best paper awards. Each will receive a certificate and a check. Congratulations to both!

  • "Meta-Analysis of Correlation Coefficients: A Cautionary Tale on Treating Measurement Error" by Prof. Qian Zhang from the Florida State University
  • "Handling Non-Normality in SEM" by Prof. Han Du from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Travel awards to Dr. Linying Ji and Dr. Vineet Kamal

 
We are happy to announce that travel awards were given to Dr. Linying Ji and Dr. Vineet Kamal. Each recipient will receive $500 plus waived registration fee. The title of Dr. Ji's talk is  Sleep-Wake Classification of Actigraphy Data: A Machine Learning Approach and the title of Dr. Kamal's talk is  A Comparison of Tree Based Supervised Machine Learning Methods for Prognostication of Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury.
